The Prelude Exhibition of The First Shanghai Graphic Design Biennale – TopoPoster: International Poster Design Exhibition, after six months (June – December, 2025) of planning and preparation, was successfully held from December 13 to December 22, 2025. As one of the larger-scale exhibitions in recent years featuring an international selection of works in China, it showcased over 300 representative poster designs from 153 influential contemporary designers and studios active in the forefront of the field across 28 countries.

Garden as a method

Presenting the new semester seminar “Garden as a Method” by Tereza Ruller at HfG Karlsruhe, Summer Semester 2024. The poster, designed in a playful style, seeks to illustrate the concept of the “garden” across various contexts, including historical, political, social, and cultural dimensions. It highlights the interconnectivity between these contexts through a combination of flat and three-dimensional graphics, organic links, and the materiality of the elements.

Methodologically, this work reflects my personal approach to creating design landscapes that the audience can actively interpret and engage with—allowing both guided understanding and open-ended exploration.
