The Prelude Exhibition of The First Shanghai Graphic Design Biennale – TopoPoster: International Poster Design Exhibition, after six months (June – December, 2025) of planning and preparation, was successfully held from December 13 to December 22, 2025. As one of the larger-scale exhibitions in recent years featuring an international selection of works in China, it showcased over 300 representative poster designs from 153 influential contemporary designers and studios active in the forefront of the field across 28 countries.

海报的创作想法取材于此次展览在地景观和独特的观展方式. 创作基础元素来源于金山岭当地丰富的植被资源, 提取了植物特点，进行图像化的创作，设计成小写字母的形态；将最具本次展览特点的三条徒步观展路线作为视觉符号贯穿三张不同自然风景的子海报，主视觉是三张子海报结合成一张有场景感的视觉，体现自然与艺术互融的视觉效果。

The creative concept of the poster draws inspiration from the local landscape of the exhibition site and its unique viewing format. The foundational visual elements are derived from the rich vegetation resources of Jinshanling. Distinct botanical characteristics were extracted and transformed into graphic forms, designed to resemble lowercase letters. The three hiking routes—an essential feature of this exhibition’s viewing experience—are used as visual symbols running through three sub-posters, each set within a different natural landscape. The main visual combines these three sub-posters into a single, scene-oriented composition, expressing the visual integration of nature and art.
